Students created defense and AI solutions at the Nokia Student Network Challenge 2026
Students from Tampere University gathered at the Hervanta campus to tackle real-world challenges from Kampusklubi member company Nokia.
Working in small teams, the students tackled two different themes: the Nokia Defense Challenge and the Nokia AI Challenge.
During the day, the teams put their skills and creativity into practice, developing solutions and new ideas around defence and artificial intelligence. The lightweight hackathon gave students a hands-on chance to work on industry-relevant topics, collaborate with peers, and connect with Nokia experts.
The day concluded with the three best-performing teams being awarded for their solutions. Congratulations to all winners!
